Of all the projects we completed over the semester, project 3 was unquestionably the most interesting one to work on. For my third project of the semester, I had to create a campaign of 3 multimedia genres, adhere to genre conventions, and then promote them to get people to see them. Project 3 was more interesting to me because rather than just creating some genres and turning them in, we actually got to see how people reacted to them, or how they did not react to them. The campaign or theme of my genres was why athletes are not good role models. The three genres that I used in my campaign were Twitter, a BuzzFeed article, and an infographic. The goal of my campaign was to educate people about how athletes should not be looked up to as role models, due to the fact that they have continuously proven that they cannot exhibit role model behavior.
